Well it appears I haven't added anything to this journal for about a month. So here's what's happened in my life since last month...
My temporary job at Exel ended after three weeks, I made some decent money there but sadly it seems like it won't be enough to fully pay off my credit card balances due to other recent expenses. How ever it will greatly reduce the amount I'll be carrying next month which should reduce the interest payments greatly. And in the meantime I'm exploring the option of getting another credit card with a Introductory 0% on balance transfers so I don't have to pay interest on the small amount I have remaining on the current card. As for work I'm searching around for other job opportunities and I'm still in Adecco's files and last week I did have an assignment for a day. So at least I 'll be able to afford to keep gas in my car for another week.
Speaking of my car, I got a newer one three weeks ago. It's a 1995 Buick Regal with under a thousand miles on it. It's bigger than my old car and has much better acceleration which is nice because I'm having no problem entering the highway and getting up to speed with the rest of the traffic anymore. The down side though is that the car uses more fuel and has a larger tank, which means it's now costing me about $32 dollars a week at current prices to keep the tank filled. Also the stereo doesn't have a CD player and some of the speakers seem to be malfunctioning. So even though I got a portable CD player Car kit, I will eventually like to replace the entire system. Otherwise it's a good car and I hope it will serve me well for a number of years to come. And I'm thankful that my grandmother thought of offering it to me when she got a newer car to replace it.

Today will be my 5th day working at the Agilent Technologies repair center in Rosevill. It isn't exciting as you my think, I don't actually work for Agilent. Nor do I work for Exel, the company contracted by Agilent to do their Shipping and Receiving. I'm just a temporary employee from Adecco assigned to work for Exel.
So what do I actually do there? Well for the first half of my shift I package electronic things in boxes for shipping. Then during the second half of my shift I enter the tracking numbers into the company database. So even though it isn't that exciting at least it's a job.

I tweaked this in a few places but it was pretty close to begin with.
