CompUSucks

So I hate Comp USA with a passion now and am happy they're slowly going out of business. I went by the Roseville Store that's closing this weekend and found they had a Copy of MS streets and trips with a GPS receiver and a sign above the display case said all major software now 70% off. That would make it only about $39! so I got it and took it to the checkout. it rang up at about $89 which meant it was only deducting $40% off the full price of $129.95. I mentioned it to the cashier which then checked with his manager.. apparently since the Register was only Giving $40% off that's all they would sell it for despite the fact of tons of signs in the store stating EVERYTHING was 60% to 80% off. I brought the fact up to the manager that since the item wasn't at least 60% off that they were liable for false advertising. to that he said he would pull the item and mark it for "Destruction". I wish I could sue them for that all I'd settel for is the item I wanted at the Price they Claimed. I hope if they didn't destroy it that at least one of the employees of the store gets it though since they deserve it for loosing their jobs with the closure.
