Poor Mr Jelly Belly!

So I just found out that the Mr Jelly Belly mascot was assaulted outside the Roseville Jelly belly store just the other day. This strikes me on a personal note because it's very Likely I have worked with the employee that was in the mascot at the time. Also during the time I worked for Jelly belly I actually was the person in that mascot on a number of occasions. while this is a n extreme case it's sadly not the only similar case. There were multiple occasions when I or my former coworker were in costume and someone yelled explicits at us, or threw objects at us while driving by. all times it was sad to see members of society treat the mascot as less then human and never think of the person inside the costume. At least there were a number of people that loved to see Mr Jelly Belly that balanced out the cruelness from others.
