Fighting at the drive through.
I saw a random fight occur at a Taco Bell drive through last Saturday night.
Some jerks decided to cut in line since it was extending past the end of the marked lane. The people they cut called them out on it and said how much of a joke they were being. Soon the people cutting the line, both the driver and passenger, decided to then get out and punch the other driver in the face, and that then got the passengers of that car involved. At that point, I tried to defuse the situation, by yelling at them to cut it out, of course by that point it didn't even give them pause, I also started to try to call the police but yeah 911 on a cell phone is by no means a quick way to do it.. hold time can be 5 minutes minimum at times if not worse. So in the end all I could do is watch. And before I got ahold of any dispatcher they stopped fighting there and both drove off after eachother..
I wish I had remembered that my digital camera was in my car.. I could have at least taken some video. Also I wonder what I would have done if the situation there got worse, If one of the people was knocked down and seriously injured. in the end i did evidentially find the number for the local Police department and called them to report that I had seem the incident, to date they haven't called me back. All in all it was a pretty upsetting thing to see just another example of how bad society is at times...
