Health care woes.
*sigh* why can so many people stand how screwed up health-care is in America... I have Medi-Cal/Medicade coverage and I need to see a doctor. After 7 phone calls it's looking more and more likely that I'll have to just go to an emergency room or wait 2 months or more to be seen by a doctor (I've already neglected to deal with the problem for 2 months in fear that seems to be proven correct that it would be a huge hassle to get any service).
No wonder government provided health-care is so broke since it seems the only practical options for those on it is to go to ER's at a cost of thousands of dollars per visit. I wonder if those in charge even think about the huge waste of money that's being caused by neglecting and purposefully cutting back reimbursements to individual doctors.
I need help physically and more so psychologically, with it I've been told, and actually experienced in the past that it's easier for me to become productive again.
Sadly though our system is just set up to neglect people it seems and isn't providing any service in a way to help me. all they do is give money begrudgingly each month always with the looming threat that they might stop or cut it back more. I want to become successful, I want to be able to find and keep a decent job, but to do that I need counseling and help that the only way to get it is to fight through a broken uncaring system that has the same problems I need consoling and help to overcome. It's so Illogical! in some other first world countries I might allready be getting the help I need rather then sitting around for another year getting nowhere in life and feeling like a drain on society. What can I do though?
